Jan-Hendrik Allermann is an employed attorney-at-law at the law firm Thiel von Herff | Rechtsanwälte. He advises clients on German and European antitrust and competition law as well as other compliance areas, such as export control and the prevention of money laundering and corruption. His civil law focus areas include contract law and corporate law.After completing his civilian service in Santiago de Chile, Mr. Allermann studied Economics at University College London and subsequently completed a law degree at Heidelberg University. During his legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Bielefeld Regional Court, he worked at the public prosecutor’s office, the City of Bielefeld’s audit office, a medium-sized Bielefeld law firm specializing in civil and tax law, and the tax authorities of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

He has been admitted to the bar as an attorney-at-law since November 2021 and has been certified as a Compliance Management Officer (TÜV) since February 2022.In addition to providing legal advice to his clients, Mr. Allermann supports internal corporate investigations into compliance violations and serves as an external compliance officer. He is always available to whistleblowers who contact the law firm Thiel von Herff | Rechtsanwälte as an ombudsman’s office in confidence.
